Auto Auctions in Japan are being held every day of the week and Oriental Vehicle Exports has all the access necessary to get the car you want from any specific auction. Although auctions give each car at auction a grading report that describes sales points and damages, not all grading reports are that good. We use experienced persons at the auctions to check the vehicle and get detailed photos if necessary. To enable you to search vehicles yourself, please feel free to use our access to USS auction and Gulliver (Global Auction Online). It's in English and offers you the possibility to search by make and model. You're welcome of course to send us your inquiries as we do have access to many more auctions like JAA, JU, TAA, CAA, Bay, etc. CAR GRADING SYSTEM Overall grade used by most auctions.... Grade S, 6 or 8 new car that is being sold in an auction. Grade 5 a car with less than 10,000kms and less than 3 years old in perfect condtion. Grade 4.5 excellent condition. Grade 4 good but may need some paint or panel. Grade 3.5 good but may need even more paint and panel or it has high kms, very few cars are given grade 4 if they are over 100,000kms. Grade 3 has either serious paint and panel or it has had a panel replacement somewhere. Grade 0, A, R, RA repair history cars, auctions define repair history "a car that has had an inside panel repaired in some way". This can be extremely minor to major... Grade 1 can be 1). Flood history (rare); 2). After market/modified Grade *** crash cars or cars that will not move (engine problems). Cars that have not been repaired. If the engine does not start and is not stearable, transportation and port costs will be extremely high.
